Shipping & Delivery

At Bookish by Joy, we carefully pack every order to ensure it arrives safely.

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment has been received. Unless the delivery date is specified otherwise with the product. 

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email. If available, tracking information will be included.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address and the size and weight of your order.

Any available shipping discounts or promotions will also be displayed during checkout before payment.

Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are:

  • The Netherlands: 1–3 business days

  • Belgium: 2–4 business days

  • Other EU countries: 3–7 business days

Please note that these are estimated delivery times and cannot be guaranteed.

Duties & Taxes

For orders within the European Union, applicable VAT is included in the purchase price.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or additional fees may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Delays

Although we do our best to deliver your order as quickly as possible, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as carrier delays, customs processing, severe weather or busy holiday periods.

We appreciate your patience if this happens.

Incorrect Shipping Address

Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

Bookish by Joy is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us immediately at bookishbyjoy@daisysdawn.nl. If your order has not yet been shipped, we will do our best to update the address.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or does not arrive within a reasonable time, please contact us at bookishbyjoy@daisysdawn.nl.

Please include your order number and, if applicable, photos of the damaged package or items. We will work with you to find the best possible solution.
